The sheer volume means it is unlikely that support for them will be added to the uvcvideo driver instantly – upstream at least. Nowadays UVC is the predominant camera interface and upstream appears to keep up quite well with the incompatibilities discovered. Isn’t there a generic driver for 611 Does it include a microphone?

Just seen your photo Are you new to LinuxQuestions. And much 1b177 auto-load modules nor anything like that. Also, if you could test 1g17 latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. September 5th, 1.
